The Honorable Jeffrey William Shaw QC has had an extensive career in the legal profession, with expertise in key areas of the law. He served as the Attorney General of the State of NSW as well as the NSW Minister of Industrial Relations from 1995 to 2000. He then served as a Justice of the Supreme Court of NSW from 2003 to 2004.
A graduate in Arts and Law from the University of Sydney with a High Distinction in Labor Law and Jurisprudence, Jeff Shaw has since returned to the same university to be a part time lecturer on Employment Law. He has also been an adjunct professor of law at the University of Technology Sydney and a visiting professor at the University of New South Wales. He was a Deputy Chairman at New South Wales Law Reform Commission and a member of the Legal Aid Commission's Panel on Appellate Criminal Law. Jeff has been a practicing Queens Counsel since 1986 and continues to hold this position. He is Director of The People's Solicitors in Sydney.
